Specific causes of Rejection sensitive dysphoria are not so evident, and therefore many mental health experts have not fully understood all its possible causes. However, there are some causes that can be pointed as the factors that lead to the likelihood of the condition.
Most of the factors come from the environment a person who suffers from the condition lives in. These environmental factors include;
- At a point in one’s life they experienced abusive parenting.
- Experiencing traumatic events.
- Facing abuse of any kind.
